Nevada State Controller
The Nevada State Controller is an elected official in the U.S. state of Nevada responsible for serving as the state's chief financial officer, administration of the state's accounting system, and conducting financial transactions on behalf of the state. Ron Knecht has served as State Controller since January 5, 2015.
Partial List of former State Controllers
- Alanson W. Nightingill, elected as the first State Controller in 1864 and served until 1867
- Kim Wallin, served from 2007 to 2015,[1]
- Kathy Augustine, served from January 4, 1999 until her death on July 11, 2006, at the age of 50, while in office.[2][3]
