The Nethercutt Collection is a museum located in Sylmar, California. Its centerpiece is its automobile collection, which has led Autoweek to call the Nethercutt one of America's five greatest automobile museums.[1]
The Nethercutt also houses collections of mechanical musical instruments, including orchestrions, player pianos and music boxes, and antique furniture.[2] There are also two older-model railroad cars.[2]
The collection is located at 15200 Bledsoe Street in the Los Angeles suburb of Sylmar.
History
The Nethercutt Collection was founded in 1972 by J. B. Nethercutt, co-founder of Merle Norman Cosmetics.[3][4][5][6]
