Nether Winchendon House
Nether Winchendon House a manor house in Nether Winchendon, in the Aylesbury Vale district of Buckinghamshire, England.
History
It was built on the site of an Augustinian priory that was a daughter house of Notley Abbey in Long Crendon. Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford bought and largely remodelled the priory in the 16th century. The house is still owned by the family.[1] The house and gardens are open to the public and the house is noted for its interior and is a grade I listed building.[2]
Filming location
It was used as a filming location of Agatha Christie's Marple's Ordeal by Innocence in 2007.[3]
Nether Winchendon House also hosts weddings.[4]
