Nawrahta Minye (Burmese: နော်ရထာ မင်းရဲ, pronounced: [nɔ̀jətʰà mɪ́ɴjɛ́]; also Anawrahta II of Sagaing) was king of Sagaing for seven months in 1349. He was a middle son of King Saw Yun, the founder of the kingdom.[1][2]

Chronicle reporting differences

The royal chronicles do not agree on his birth and death dates. According to contemporary inscriptions, he reigned for seven months, and was still alive on 25 October 1349 (Sunday, 13th waning of Tazaungmon 711 ME).[note 1] Furthermore, per inscriptional evidence, his predecessor died in 710 ME (1348/49).[3] It means that Nawrahta Minye likely came to power in late 710 ME or about March 1349.
