Nawiady [naˈvjadɨ] (German: Aweyden) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Piecki, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Piecki, 17 km (11 mi) south of Mrągowo, and 55 km (34 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. On May 1, 1981 the local Protestant church was charged and forcefully taken over by Catholics.[2]
