Natalie Garonzi
Natalie Garonzi is an Australian actress, writer, comedian and TV Presenter. She worked internationally as a model for many years and then began her television career on Nickelodeon Australia[1] where she was hugely popular on Saturday Nick Television and Sarvo. She has also presented Wedding Switch as well as the Australian version of the US series of Playing It Straight on the Seven Network.[1]
Television and film career
She starred as Brie in the Australian feature film You and Your Stupid Mate.
Natalie hosted The Mint on GTV Channel 9 until its cancellation,[1] and received praise for her unique, bubbly style. Also, repeats of Playing It Straight are currently being aired on Foxtel on Arena (TV network). She starred in The Comedy Channel's new improvised comedy series and was the captain of the winning team for the series on Comedy Slapdown.
Natalie was the host of "The Xtra Factor", a live 'after the main show' on 7Two in 2010, however the show was a contractual obligation to the network for only one year and therefore not brought back for the 2011 series of The X Factor (Australia).
In 2012, Natalie was rumoured to host the relaunch of Big Brother Australia - Big Brother: Secrets when the series returned to Channel 9.,[2] however Sonia Kruger became the host instead.[3]
She was credited writer and co-host of Uplate! on channel GO! with James Kerley and Shura Taft.[4]
Natalie is a popular MC and comedy writer . She recently co-wrote Surprisingly Good, a one-man show and cabaret performed by Rob Mills which received rave reviews across the country and is still touring nationally.
Radio career
She has had worked in radio as part of many successful radio teams. She has appeared on B105 FM as a breakfast radio host and from 2007 - 2010 was part of the regular fill-in team on Nova 106.9 in the coveted breakfast shift.
