Nasscom Emerge 50

Nasscom Emerge 50^[1] is an annual Indian awards ceremony honoring most promising and innovative startups in software & technology domains. The startups chosen are broadly around some new product ideas and are some of the most exciting solutions of their times. The awards first presented in 2009 are overseen by NASSCOM.^[2]

The winners are chosen after a yearlong scrutiny process by a panel of eminent jury. Every year the top 10 startups are given the collective title of The League of 10.

2014

In 2014 the competition happened between about 450 entries. The initial screening was carried out by Zinnov Management Consulting. Final shortlisting was done by the panel of eminent jury.

2013

In 2013 awards were given in two categories: EMERGE Growth and EMERGE Startup. EMERGE Growth were given to those companies which were completely unique and offered a unique proposition in terms of IP. These companies also demonstrated a growth pattern in revenues, headcount, funding status, maturity and customer traction. EMERGE Startup was given to those companies which were less than 3 years old and showed signs of innovation in their offerings. In 2013 awards were given in technology areas like, cloud, internet relates services, enterprise app, mobility, big data/analytics.
