Nanded-Waghala is a city and a municipal corporation in Nanded district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated on the banks of the river Godavari in Maharashtra state of India. It is the administrative headquarters of Nanded District and Marathwada's third most important city, next only to Aurangabad. Nanded is a well-known Sikh Pilgrimage center. One can visit a famous Sikh Gurdwara Takht Sri Hazur Sahib here. Mahur and Basar are adjacent tourist attractions. The waterfall of Sahastra Kunda is popular with tourists.
Nanded-Waghala could prove to be of interest for international business, as it is one of the major cotton growing areas in India.
Tourists can approach the city Nanded-Waghala from Mumbai (Bombay), Pune or Hyderabad. Nanded is well-connected to all parts of North India and South India by train.
Nanded is renowned for its advances in Education Spiritual, Social, Political, Science, Arts and other spheres.

Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Nanded-Waghala had a population of 430,598. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nanded-Waghala has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 63%. In Nanded-Waghala, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.

There are very famous places, temples, hotels etc. In Nanded, very beautiful Gurudwara is there. Nanded is very famous for Panipuri at Bhagya Nagar. Shiva temple is in vishnupuri. It is very beautiful.
