Nanaehama Station (七重浜駅 Nanaehama-eki) is a railway station on the Esashi Line in Hokuto, Hokkaido, Japan, operated by Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido).

History

Nanaehama Station opened on 21 June 1926.[1] With the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR Hokkaido.[1]

Future developments

Operations on the Esashi Line are scheduled to be transferred from JR Hokkaido to a new operating company when the Hokkaido Shinkansen opens around 2016.[2]
