Naked Mountain Natural Area Preserve

Naked Mountain Natural Area Preserve is a Natural Area Preserve located in Nelson County, Virginia.[1] It was created to protect an uncommon growth of Dodecatheon meadia growing among the trees on the mountainside. A small population of the rare Pycnanthemum torrei may also be found among the native plants clinging to the bedrock of the barrens. The preserve was dedicated in 2006.
