Najmuddin Khan

Najmuddin Khan was the Provincial General Secretary of PPP Khyber Pakhtoonkwa since 1998 up to 2012 and Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions of Pakistan[1][2] as of 31 March 2008. He is a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party in the National Assembly representing Upper Dir in North West Frontier Province, Pakistan. He was a member of the national Assembly from 1990-1993, a member of the provincial Assembly NWFP 1996-1999 and Chairman of the District Council, District Dir 1983-1987. He is known for his straight forwardness and his sincerity which has enabled him to service the backward area of District Dir to the maximum extent. With his dedication and support Dir Upper is facilitated with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University and various hydro power projects along with other development works. He is considered as one of the closest Aid of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is considered as an important and powerful member of the Pakistan Peoples Party and is well known throughout the country for his down to earth simple life style.
