History

The origin of NVISH Solutions can be attributed to Gurmail Singh,[1] who co-founded the company with Neeraj Kahal in the city of Santa Clara, California in 2006, which is also the global headquarters of NVISH Solutions. During the same year, Gurmail Singh returned to India, after spending six years in Silicon Valley, to set up the Indian arm of NVISH Solutions in Panchkula, Haryana. The company name evolved from ‘Wish’, highlighting the company’s focus to fulfill ‘any wish’ of its clients.

Offices and locations

To meet its technology and infrastructure needs, NVISH Solutions moved its operations in 2008 from Panchkula to new location at DLF Info City, First Floor, Tower E, Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park (RGCTP),[2] in Chandigarh.[3]

By 2010, NVISH had set up a regional office in Great Britain, as part of their global expansion plan, and an extended development center in the city of Mohali, located m NVISH Solutions also had plans to open off-shore development centers in Chennai and Gurgaon.[4]

Ranking and awards

In 2010-11, NVISH Solutions was ranked as the highest exporter of software and related services, under the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) category, in the Chandigarh region of North India.[5][6] by SPIC (Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh).[7]

Microsoft Gold Certified Partner

In 2006, NVISH Solutions became Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Gold Software Development.[8]

Oracle Gold Partner

In 2011, NVISH Solutions partnered with Oracle as the Oracle Gold Partner in Systems Integrator category.[9]

NASSCOM Membership

NVISH Solutions also became a member of the NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) in May 2010.[10]

Notable Projects

Web development for a storage solutions provider

In 2006, NVISH got a Web development and Web maintenance project from a USA based data storage solutions provider. NVISH also developed a portal, a Content Management System (CMS), an E-book application, and blogs for the client.

Web development for a global gaming company

In 2009, a global gaming company based in the USA engaged NVISH Solutions for web development, program management, and maintenance of official and partner game sites. This project became the flagship project of NVISH Solutions and established NVISH as an enterprise web development, online marketing, IT infrastructure, and application development solutions company in SME category in the Chandigarh Tricity region (Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Mohali).

NVISH follows a managed services model to provide enterprise web development, creative, IT operations, online marketing and intelligence, application development, and IT infrastructure services to its Fortune 500 clientele.

Rebranding

In 2011, NVISH Solutions unveiled a new logo with the letter ‘n’ written in lower case. However, the new logo retains old punch line ‘We make it happen’.
