National Liberation Movement of Ahwaz
The National Liberation Movement of Ahwaz (NLMA) (ar: حركة التحرير الوطني الأحوازي, Harakit al-Taḥrīr al-Watani Al-Ahwazi), is an organization calling for a free independent Arab state called Ahwaz. Ahwaz or Ahvaz is the Arab traditional name of Iran's Khuzestan Province.
The organization is currently located in the United States, and it calls for a referendum on independence.
