National Cycle Route 76

National Cycle Route 76 is also known as the Round the Forth cycle route. It is part of the National Cycle Network in the United Kingdom.

Route

Berwick upon Tweed to Edinburgh

This section of route is under development. At Berwick upon Tweed the route meets NCR 1.

Edinburgh to Queensferry

This section of route links Edinburgh and the Forth Road Bridge at Queensferry. At Edinburgh the route meets NCR 1 and NCR 75.

Queensferry to Grangemouth

This section of route follows the southern bank of the Firth of Forth.

Grangemouth to Stirling

This section of route follows the southern bank of the Firth of Forth and passes through Falkirk.

Stirling to Alloa

This section of route follows the northern bank of the Firth of Forth.

Tullibody Old Bridge and Cambus Iron Bridge, each a Category A listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument, are on the route.

Alloa to North Queensferry

This section of route follows the northern bank of the Firth of Forth At North Queensferry the route meets NCR 1.

North Queensferry to Kirkcaldy

This section of route follows the northern bank of the Firth of Forth.

Kirkcaldy to St Andrews

This section of route is under development. At St Andrews the route meets NCR 1.
