National Association for Search and Rescue
The National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) is an organization in the United States interested in the training of search and rescue, disaster relief, emergency medicine and awareness education. NASAR is interested in search and rescue as a humanitarian mission. NASAR works closely with other organizations such as the Mountain Rescue Association, and the National Park Service (NPS).
It should not be confused with the Canadian government National Search and Rescue Program.
