MyRepublic Limited, is an internet service provider in Singapore, New Zealand, and Indonesia. It is the fourth broadband service provider in Singapore.
MyRepublic was founded in 2011 by Malcolm Rodrigues, a former Vice President of StarHub International and Wholesale; KC Lai, a former StarHub Senior VP of Consumer Sales; and Greg Mittman, previously a lead of Alcatel-Lucent's National Broadband Network Team.[1]
According to International Data Corporation (IDC) as of October 2014, MyRepublic had a 5% share of the Singapore broadband market, as compared to Singtel (41%), StarHub (32%) and M1 Limited (8%).[2]
On 12 October 2014, MyRepublic launched its free 3-month fibre broadband trial in New Zealand.[3]

Internet services
In 2011, MyRepublic launched its fibre broadband 100 Mbit/s no-frills plan in Singapore.
In 2014, MyRepublic launched its services in the New Zealand market, making effort to provide fibre services of at least 100 Mbit/s to the residential and business sector with no data limits.[4]
As of 2015, MyRepublic offers internet speeds of 200 Mbit/s – 1 Gbit/s to residential customers and 100 Mbit/s – 1 Gbit/s to corporate customers[5] in Singapore.
History
2012
- In the month of February, StarHub enters into a dispute with MyRepublic, after MyRepublic claimed that StarHub is discouraging its consumers to move to the Next-Gen NBN.[6]
2013
- MyRepublic introduces enterprise plans to attract Singapore's Small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs).[7]
- MyRepublic cooperates with Google Apps, Mako Networks, and Singapore-based OSINet to bundle additional services into its business products.[8]
- In February 2014, MyRepublic optimized its streaming service for legal media content on the internet.
2014
- MyRepublic launches its 1 Gbit/s broadband services starting from S$49.99 per month (US$39) making Singapore the first country to offer 1 Gbit/s, with prices that are "amongst the most affordable in the world".[9]
- On 16 January 2014, MyRepublic announced MyGigNation, an initiative to attract and entice local independent developers to create, build and test "Gigabit-level applications".[10]
- MyRepublic raised $24 million in funding from Sunshine Network and $10 million from French billionaire Xavier Niel [11]
- In April, MyRepublic announces its intention to expand into New Zealand by second half of 2014.[12]
- In October, MyRepublic launches its free 3-month fibre broadband trial in New Zealand[13]
