Paganizer is a Swedish death metal band playing the classic Swedish style metal, in the style of Grave and Dismember. The band was formed initially by Johansson, Carlsson and Jocke in 1998 after the departure of Terminal Grip since 1997. They have released six full-lengths and two best of/compilation albums.

History

In early 2005 it was announced that Paganizer was finished; however, soon the band was activated once again, in the Johansson/Fiebig/Halvarsson lineup. Many members, including Rogga, are also involved in the band Ribspreader.

On October 28, 2008, Paganizer was signed with Cyclone Empire Records and released their album Scandinavian Warmachine on April 17th, 2009. Paganizer's long-time recorded last album, Carnage Junki, was finally released via Vic Records on November 2009.[1]

On May 6, 2013, the band has announced their latest studio album titled World Lobotomy that was released on May 10 2010 via Cyclone Empire.[2] Paganizer had to canceled their upcoming shows due their guitarist Andreas 'Dea' Carlsson because he is "the man isn't hardcore death metal like the rest of us idiots". In addition, Dennis Blomberg replace Andreas as their new guitarist.[3]
