Mukul Balkrishna Wasnik (Marathi: मुकुल बाळकृष्ण वासनिक) was the Former Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.[1] He represents the Ramtek constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party. He is also a General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee.
Earlier he has represented Buldhana (Lok Sabha constituency) of Maharashtra during 12th Lok Sabha during 1998-1999, 10th Lok Sabha during 1991-1996 and 8th Lok Sabha during 1984-1989.
Mukul Wasnik was National President of National Students Union of India during 1984-1986.
Mukul Wasnik was President of Indian Youth Congress during 1988-1990.
He is son of veteran Congress Leader and three time MP Balkrishna Wasnik[2]
