Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman is a Pakistani Politician and a Member of National Assembly of Pakistan, currently serving as Minister of State for Federal Education, Professional Training, Interior and Narcotics Control in Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Cabinet. [1]

Education

He got his Secondary and Intermediate education from Sadiq Public School, Bahawalpur. He then moved to US where he did his B.Sc. Engineering from University of Pennsylvania in 1994. [2]

Political career

He ran for the Parliament of Pakistan in General elections of 2008 and 2013 from Constituency NA-185 on PML-N ticket, winning both times. On 7 June 2013, he was Sworn in as Minister of State for Federal Education, Professional Training, Interior and Narcotics Control in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. [3][4][5]
