Mu Serpentis (μ Ser, μ Serpentis) is a star in the constellation Serpens, in its head (Serpens Caput). Mu Serpentis is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +3.54. It is approximately 156 light years from Earth.
In Chinese astronomy, Mu Serpentis is called 天乳, Pinyin: Tiānrǔ, meaning Celestial Milk, because this star is marking itself and stand alone in Celestial Milk asterism, Root mansion (see : Chinese constellation).[1]
