Moon Song (1932 song)

"Moon Song" is a popular and jazz standard song with music by Sam Coslow and lyrics by Arthur Johnston, published in 1932.

The song was first introduced in the Paramount movie Hello, Everybody! where it was sung by Kate Smith. It has been since recorded by many other singers, including Doris Day (in her album Day by Night), Sue Raney (on her 1995 double CD When Your Lover Has Gone/Songs for a Raney Day), Frank Sinatra (recorded for the album Moonlight Sinatra), and Dan Barrett, who used it as the title song of an album he made.
