Mofan Street

The Mofan Street (Chinese: 模範街; pinyin: Mófàn Jiē) is a street in Jincheng Township, Kinmen County, Fujian Province, Republic of China.

Name

The street gets its name from the uniform hybrid architecture of Chinese and Western styles.[1]

History

The street was built in 1924.[2]

Architecture

The street features buildings with brick exteriors and arched door fronts modeled after both the Japanese and Western architecture.
