Moccasin Stakes
The Moccasin Stakes is a Thoroughbred horse race run at Hollywood Park Racetrack located in Inglewood, California. A race for two-year-old fillies, the ungraded event is set late in the year at a distance of 7 furlongs on the Cushion track. Named after Moccasin, the only two-year-old filly to be named American Horse of the Year, the race offers a purse of $100,000.
