"Mobile" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, released as the fifth and final single from her multi-platinum debut album Let Go. It was a released as a radio-only single in Australia but was released as an airplay and physical single in New Zealand.[1]

The song is also featured on the soundtracks to the films The Medallion[2] and Wimbledon. It also made an appearance in the film Just Married.

Composition and reception

Rolling Stone was positive and praised the countrish delivery of song: "Mobile" should be her next completely inescapable hit: As Lavigne wails over crashing waves of acoustic and electric guitars, her big voice occasionally turns sideways in a drawl, a casual hint that she may actually be, of all things, a fine country singer in the making."[3]

Music video

The official music video for the song was shot on the streets of Los Angeles in December 2002, but remained unreleased. In January 2011 - eight years later - the video leaked onto YouTube.[4]
