Mitsuyo Kakuta
Mitsuyo Kakuta (角田 光代, Kakuta Mitsuyo born 1967) is a Japanese author. She debuted while still a university student with Kōfuku na yūgi (A Blissful Pastime) and received the Kaien Prize for New Writers in 1990. She went on to win the Naoki Prize and the Noma Literary New Face Prize.[1] At least one of her works has been made into a film.[2]
