Miss Universe 1970, the 19th Miss Universe pageant, was held on 11 July 1970 at the Miami Beach Auditorium in Miami Beach, Florida, USA. Marisol Malaret of Puerto Rico crowned by Gloria Diaz of the Philippines. The delegates also visited Expo '70 in Osaka, Japan.

This year, Czechoslovakia became the very first country behind the Iron Curtain to participate in the pageant.
