Miss Turks & Caicos is a national beauty pageant that selects the Turks & Caicos' representative to the Miss Universe pageant.

History

The Miss Turks and Caicos Universe Beauty Organisation is a company that advances and supports today's women through its Passion for Pageantry with a Purpose. The pageant identified was held in 1979. Miss Turks and Caicos is official national franchise holder of Miss Universe pageant.

As of December 2012, under the direction of Kazz Forbes and the Saint George Fashion House (SGFH) in partnership with the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board, the Miss Universe Turks and Caicos franchise has experienced an exciting re-branding. Its aim is to advance and support today's beautiful by nature ladies while promoting passion for pageantry with a purpose.

By creating an environment that is conducive for learning through training, exploring, researching and discovering myriad experiences, the board members challenge contestants to bring out their personal best.

Each experience - be it a physical task, an intellectual assignment or social engagement - seeks to cultivate the passions, self-image, and education that will prepare the contestant to compete on an international stage.

The exhilarating journey to coronation is designed to encourage the pursuit of purpose, promote discipline, and support the strengthening of character.[1]
