Mircea Dobrescu (5 September 1930 – 6 August 2015) was a boxer from Romania, who won the silver medal in the flyweight division (– 51 kg) at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia.[1] In the final he was defeated by Terence Spinks of Great Britain on points. Dobrescu competed in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1952.
His trainer was Constantin Nour.[2]
