Minerul Lupeni was a Romanian football club from Lupeni, Hunedoara County founded in 1920 and dissolved in 2011.
History
Minerul played for four seasons in the Liga I during its long history, mostly playing in the Liga II and Liga III. In 1928 it won the silver medal at the final tournament, that was organised then as a cup.
During the 2010–11 Liga II season it withdrew from the championship because of lack of funds.[1] Thus another Romanian club with a long history being dissolved.
