Mindteck is an Indian company that provides product engineering solutions and IT services to several Fortune 100 companies, universities and government agencies.[2][3] Established in 1991, the company is headquartered at Bangalore. Yusuf Lanewala is the chairman and managing director of the company.[4][5] It is a CMMI Dev Ver 1.3 Level 5 company.[2]

History

The company was originally incorporated in Mumbai on 25 July 1991[6] as Hinditron Informatics Ltd.[7] The company changed its name to "Mindteck" in September 1999[8] and shifted its headquarters to Bangalore in 2006.[9]

The company acquired Infotech Consulting in 2007, and, in 2008, merged with Primetech Solutions, Mindteck UK and Mindteck Singapore.[10]
