Michael Neal (born April 3, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for the Wichita Thunder in the ECHL. He was originally selected by the Dallas Stars in the 5th round (149th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Michael is the younger brother of former Dallas Stars and current Nashville Predators forward James Neal. On May 6, 2009, he was signed by the Dallas Stars to a three-year contract.[1]
During the 2014–15 season on January 24, 2015, Neal joined the Kalamazoo Wings in a trade from the Cincinnati Cyclones. After finishing the season with the Wings, Neal signed to a try-out contract with the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL on September 29, 2015.[2]
