The Miami Gardens Police Department or MGPD, often referred to as the City of Miami Gardens Police, is the chief police department of the U.S. city of Miami Gardens, Florida. The Miami Gardens Police Department is the lead agency for Law Enforcement activities within the City of Miami Gardens. The department operates under a unified command structure with its headquarters located at 1020 NW 163rd Drive, Miami Gardens, Florida.

There is one patrolling districts and seven neighborhoods for which the following districts are responsible:

The City of Miami Gardens Police Department also patrol Sun Life Stadium, also the Calder Casino & Race Track.

In 2013, serious allegations of civil rights abuses and sweeping misconduct were made against the department.[1][2][3]
