Methacton School District is a public school district located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
The school district includes residents the townships of Lower Providence and Worcester. The Methacton School District was formed in 1961. It serves the suburban Montgomery County townships of Lower Providence and Worcester, approximately 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia and seven miles east of Valley Forge. The residents are largely middle to upper income. The 32 square mile district includes a population of 38,000.[1]
Seven schools comprise the district:
- Methacton High School (9th-12th grade)
- Skyview Upper Elementary School (5th and 6th grade)
- Arcola Intermediate School (7th and 8th grade)
- Arrowhead Elementary School (K-4th grade
- Audubon Elementary School (K-4th grade)
- Eagleville Elementary School (K-4th grade)
- Woodland Elementary School (K-4th grade)
- Worcester Elementary School (K-4th grade)
The superintendent is Dr. David A. Zerbe.
