A metatrochophore (/ˌmtəˈtrkəˌfɔər, ˌmɛ-, -ˈtrɒ-, -k-/;[1][2]) is a type of larva developed from the trochophore larva of a polychaete annelid.

Metatrochophores have a number of features trochophores don't, including eyespots and segments.
