Messina Cathedral
The Duomo of Santa Maria Assunta is one of the cathedrals of the Archdiocese of Messina-Lipari-Santa Lucia del Mela and is located in Messina, Sicily, Italy.
The current building is the final result of some twentieth century reconstructions, which took place following the disastrous earthquake that struck Messina in 1908 and the heavy damages happened during the World War II.[1]
