Melissa Tan Li Hsia is a Malaysian model and television personality. She is best known for her appearance as a contestant in the third cycle of Asia's Next Top Model, where she represented Malaysia.[1]
Modelling career
Tan travels between Malaysia and Singapore for modelling assignments. She started as a freelance model in Malaysia at the age of 19. She decided to quit her job as a consultant in PriceWaterhouseCoopers to pursue full-time modelling by joining Asia's Next Top Model.
She started her full-time modelling career with Singapore modelling agency, Basic Models Management after her stint on Asia's Next Top Model.[2] Melissa appeared in volume 22, June 2015 edition of Jute magazine.[3]
Asia's Next Top Model (cycle 3)
Tan is known as being one of the contestants in the Asia's Next Top Model. She won both the group challenge and the group photo shoot in episode 2 and was consistently in the top 3 for the first 6 episodes before being eliminated in episode 7. She placed 8th in the 3rd cycle of Asia's Next Top Model.
