Mehdi Méniri (Arabic: مهدي منيري) (born June 29, 1977 in Metz, France) is a former Algerian football defender.

Career

Despite having been born in Metz, Méniri first played senior football for AS Nancy. He moved on to Troyes, with whom he played in the UEFA Cup, and in the summer of 2003 he finally went to play for FC Metz. After 3 seasons with FC Metz he signed with SC Bia in Ligue 2.

At the end of the 2007-2008 season, he was loaned out to Qatari club Al Khor for 3 months. He returned to SC Bastia after his loan spell. On 31 March 2010 the SC Bastia of the France's Ligue 2 32-year-old Algerian defender signed a season long contract with Al Dhafra Club.[1]

On September 16, 2010, it was announced that Meniri was joining French amateur side CSO Amnéville.[2]
