Mehdi Kiani (Persian: مهدی کیانی, born 10 January 1987 in Nahavand) is an Iranian Football Midfielder who currently plays for Tractor Sazi in the Iran Pro League. He is playing for Tractor Sazi since 2008 and is known for his loyalty to the club among the Tractor Sazi fans. He was currently the captain of the Tractor Sazi. He was first invited to the Iran national football team by Afshin Ghotbi in 2011, but did not play.

Club career

He started his professional career with Tractor Sazi in summer 2008. He played seven seasons and 171 games before leaving the club and signing for fellow Tabrizi club Gostaresh Foolad.
