Mehdi Azizian (Persian: مهدی عزیزیان, born 20 January 1956) is an Iranian businessman and economist who is President and CEO of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR) since 1 March 2014.[1] He was previously Economic Vice President of the company.

Biography

Azizian is an employee of the Astan Quds Razavi since 1988. He is also chairman of the Organization for Eghtesade Razavi, the largest financial holding company, the country's biggest in east part.[2] He is known for his rules in lot of construction management in the Imam Reza shrine. His most important measures to expedite the construction process, creating new architecture in the shrine of Imam Reza, switching shrine, building porches and courts of special facilities for the pilgrims of Imam Reza's shirne development plan.
