Meerut City, or Meerut City Junction, is the main railway station in the city of Meerut. It is a junction one lines goes from here to khurja jn and conneect to kolkata delhi line ,the line is double and electrified from delhi to meerut city ,serving the city and the Meerut District. It lies on the Northern Railway zone of India under delhi division.[1] After Meerut City, the second major railway station is located at Meerut Cantonment.
