Medano is a former settlement in Madera County, California.^[1] It was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 4.5 miles (7.2 km) north-northeast of Fairmead,^[2] at an elevation of 299 feet (91 m).^[1] Medano still appeared on maps as of 1918.^[1]
