McAllen Independent School District
The McAllen Independent School District is a school district headquartered in the city of McAllen, Texas, United States.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]

The physical campuses of the MISD include 3 High Schools, 7 Middle Schools, and 24 Elementary Schools.
