Maytansinoid
A maytansinoid is a chemical derivative of maytansine.[1]
Some are being investigated as the cytotoxic component of antibody-drug conjugates.[1]
Examples:
- Ansamitocin[2]
- Mertansine/emtansine (DM1)
- ravtansine/soravtansine (DM4)
