Mauro Silva Sousa (born 31 October 1990) is a Brazilian footballer playing for Braga in Primeira Liga.
Club career
Mauro kicked off his career with local club Atlético Goianense in 2010. The next year he won the Goiano 1. He then joined Gil Vicente of Portugal before signing for Braga B in the Segunda Liga. He made his debut against Benfica B.[1]
His performance for the reserve team impressed manager Jorge Paixao, who promoted Mauro to the first team. Mauro played the full 90 minutes in a UEFA Europa League match against CS Pandurii.[2]
