The African nation of Mauritius competed at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the nation's eighth consecutive appearance at the Olympics.
Mauritius Olympic Committee sent a total of 11 athletes to the Games, 4 men and 7 women, to compete in 7 different sports. For the second time in Olympic history, Mauritius was represented by more female than male athletes. Among the sports played by the athletes, Mauritius marked its official Olympic debut in triathlon and beach volleyball. Beach volleyballer Natacha Rigobert, the oldest member of the team, at age 37, became the nation's first female flag bearer at the opening ceremony. Mauritius, however, failed to win a single Olympic medal at these games for the first time since 2004.
