Mattakallappu Manmiyam (Tamil: மட்டக்களப்பு மான்மியம்; English: The Glory of Batticaloa) is a Tamil historical book. This book contains facts of the history of Batticaloa.[1] Mattakallappu Manmiyam has been compiled by ‘’Vidhwan’’ F.X.Nadarajah from the collections of Palm-leaf manuscripts, copper plate inscriptions & inscriptions and it was published in August 1962. The original authors are unknown.[2]

The book is recorded the history from ancient Batticaloa to Dutch colonial era.[3] Historians say that the book has perplexity and mythical story as it written by various authors in various durations. However, it is considered a rare and important book for knowing the history of Batticaloa.
