Math Paper Press
Math Paper Press is a small press publisher of poetry, new wave novellas, full-length novels and essays, established in 2005. It is an imprint of BooksActually, a Singaporean independent bookstore in Tiong Bahru.[1] It has published award-winning authors such as Alvin Pang, Alfian Sa'at and Cyril Wong. The press had five titles shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize in 2014,[2] from which Joshua Ip's "sonnets from the singlish" co-won the Singapore Literature Prize for English Poetry.[3] Owner Kenny Leck focuses on developing and publishing budding Singaporean writers.[4]
