Masketta Fall are a Melbourne-based pop-rock group signed to Island Records Australia which is part of Universal Music Australia. The band is made up of Braden Daniel on vocals, Ben Downing on vocals and guitar, Daniel Molivas on vocals and guitar, and Jamie Ross on drums.[1]

History

After meeting in high school, the band built themselves from the ground up playing hundreds of headline, support and high schools shows,[2] busking out front of live venues [3] and forming an army of online fans, known as "Masketeers".[4] During this time the band independently released debut EP "Something Beautiful" in September 2012,[5] "Parachute" EP in October 2013,[6] and multiple singles from each including most notable "Do You Wanna Dance" [7]

In November 2014, it was announced that Masketta Fall had signed a record deal with Universal Music Australia [8] after being scouted whilst on tour with American indie rock band American Authors.[9] Their debut single on a major label, Summertime Girls was released on 5 December 2014 [10] which peaked at #23 on the iTunes Pop Singles Chart [11] and gained high rotation on Australian Commercial Radio.[12] In 2015 the band supported The Vamps,[13] Demi Lovato [14] and McBusted [15] across Australia, and headlined Canberra's annual Raising Fire event with over 100,000 in attendance.[16][17] The band confirmed their next single "Love Me Like That" will be released on 15 January 2016 Australia-Wide.[18]
