Masako Okawara
Masako Okawara (大河原 雅子 Ōkawara Masako, born 1953) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Yokohama, Kanagawa and 1977 graduate of International Christian University, she had served in the assembly of Tokyo for three terms (10 years) since 1993. She was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2007.
