The main focus of Bisognin's CutiePieMarzia YouTube centers around fashion, style, haul, beauty, make-up, how-to and DIY videos.[2][3][4] Although Italian, Bisognin speaks English in her videos, which she delivers in a vlog format.[3][5] Bisognin is signed to Maker Studio's sub-network, The Platform.[6]

Marketing

Bisognin and Felix Kjellberg, (better known as PewDiePie), who have been in a relationship since 2011, have both amassed sizable followings. Their individual, as well as their combined popularity, has led to them landing ad deals. In 2014, the two were part of a marketing campaign for the horror film, As Above, So Below.[14] While Kjellberg's videos involved gaming-related topics, Bisognin's videos for the campaign centered around a travel vlog angle of the couple's trip to Paris.[15]

In October 2014, ABC used Bisognin, along with others, to promote their new series Selfie.[16]

In January 2015 Marzia published a horror book titled La Casa Dei Sogni (Eng: Dream House).[17]

Personal life

Marzia Bisognin was born on 21 October 1992 in Vicenza.[11][18]

Bisognin was introduced to PewDiePie's videos by friends who recommended that she watch this "idiot playing video games."[19] She began dating Kjellberg in 2011, after e-mailing him, and stating that she found his videos funny.[20] She then moved to Sweden, to live with him that October. They later moved to her native Italy, before settling together in Brighton, United Kingdom.[21][22][23] The two live along with their two pugs, Edgar and Maya.[24] Bisognin's relationship with Felix Kjellberg, has been highlighted by various media outlets, and has assisted her rise as a YouTube personality. The two have been referred to as "YouTube's biggest power couple".[25] Additionally, Kjellberg's channel has maintained its position as YouTube's most subscribed since 2013.[26] The Globe and Mail writes that Bisognin's "calm personality balances out PewDiePie's general wackiness."[27]
